The latest in the DB line of cars, the eagerly anticipated DB11, is the first car to be launched in Aston Martin’s ‘Second Century’ plan. With an illustrious 103-year history, boasting many iconic cars in that time, the British marque has described the DB11 as ‘the most powerful, efficient and dynamically gifted DB model’ created.
It reaches its top speed of 200mph in moments with 600bhp, able to accelerate from 0 – 62mph in a mere 3.9 seconds – all that and it’s a true 2+2 grand tourer, fitting into a long lineage of stunning Gran Turismo models.
Its bold, fearless design and number of innovations are complemented by the DB11’s elegantly crafted interior, which - although hi-tech - is still hand-crafted in true Aston Martin style, ensuring that everything works in harmony.

The all-new body of the DB11 is created by joining pressed and extruded aluminium pieces together, using self-piercing rivets and glues. This formation is lightweight, incredibly strong and extremely stiff, making for a safety feature in itself by protecting vehicle occupants with its rigidity.
Similarly, the all-new chassis uses a mix of bonded aluminium pressings, extrusions and castings, and is even more rigid and robust than the bodywork.
The unique clamshell bonnet is aesthetically pleasing, reducing shut lines on the body, but it’s also an innovative safety feature, as it improves the ability of the DB11 to absorb impacts, keeping the cabin well-protected.
Torque vectoring by braking enhances the DB11’s agility, aiding control and traction when cornering by applying braking power to each wheel proportionally to offer improved handling and keep you well gripped to the road.
ISOFIX fittings come as standard, enabling the fitment of two child seats.
The newly-designed DB11 boasts svelte styling both inside and out, with striking shots from all angles; it’s classic Aston Martin through and through, but with a refreshed, edgy design direction.
Proudly displaying David Brown’s initials on its badge, the DB11 features a new aluminium bodyshell, with a striking new grille, sleek clamshell bonnet and innovative Aeroblade™, creating a sleek silhouette that’s aerodynamically effective.
The all-new, spacious interior is lined with beautiful, natural materials, oozing exquisite artistry. A redesigned instrument panel, restyled seats and state-of-the-art infotainment system are all at the height of luxury.
But it’s not all aesthetic – the chassis, suspension, steering and electronics have been completely reworked to offer a broad range of capabilities.
Additionally, the DB11 boasts a brand new engine: a 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12, driving the rear wheels through an eight-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission – that’s the most powerful ever to be fitted to a DB road car.
The DB11 boasts innovative technology from infotainment to intelligent efficiency. Daytime running lights have been used for the first time in an Aston Martin, as well as low-speed cornering lights.
The pioneering Curlicue vents on the sides of the DB11 and Aeroblade™ at the rear draw in and force out high-pressure air to reduce lift. Utilise selectable GT, Sport and Sport Plus driving modes to tighten performance.
The DB11 also boasts variable valve timing, a 360-degree bird’s eye view camera system, electric power steering with ‘up and away’, parking control, stop-start and intelligent bank activation, which closes off six cylinders when using the throttle lightly.
Primary vehicle information is displayed on a 12-inch TFT LCD display and another 8-inch screen displays multimedia. Use the intuitive rotary control or optional touchpad to easily operate satellite navigation and Aston Martin Premium Audio, or the optional Bang & Olufsen sound system upgrade.
