One of the leading lights of the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, the N430 special edition of the V8 Vantage sportscar brings even more power and poise to the much-loved Vantage range. Exclusive styling, along with 0-60mph acceleration in just 4.6 seconds, a top speed of 190mph and a revamped steering and suspension setup, make the new model as proficient during track days as it is when cruising along country roads and motorways. The N430, moreover, is available either as a coupé or a roadster. The new Aston Martin V8 Vantage N430 can be discovered in more detail at the Lancaster Aston Martin dealerships in Cambridgeshire and Kent.
A strong structure and quick-deploying front and side airbags for the driver and passengers offer excellent protection to the occupants of the N430 in the event of a collision.
To avoid dangerous situations, moreover, the car comes with a panoply of active safety features; Dynamic Stability Control, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, Emergency Brake Assist, Positive Torque Control, Hill Start Assist and Traction Control are all means by which the driver can maintain complete control over the N430 at all times.
The low, lithe shape and gaping grille of the N430 clearly confirms its identity as a Vantage.
The five exclusive colour schemes, however (“Heritage", “Race", “Stealth", “Trophy" and “Speedway") give the model a highly individual look, emphasised by the black accents around the grille, side windows and headlights. 10-spoke forged alloy wheels, finished in graphite, complete the car's aggressive profile. An array of additional club sports graphics packs, meanwhile, allow still greater personalisation.
A similarly distinctive interior boasts carbon fibre sill plates, seats and gear lever, as well as black magnesium paddle-shifts mounted on the cross-stitched leather steering wheel.
The use of carbon fibre also reduces the weight of the N430 to 20kg less than the standard V8 Vantage; combined with modifications to enhance its aerodynamic qualities and an engine producing 10bhp more than the standard model, this has a beneficial effect on performance.
The 4.7 litre V8 engine of the N430 supplies 430bhp and maximum torque of 490Nm, enabling it to achieve 0-60mph acceleration in 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 190mph.
A retuned suspension setup and brakes, as well as quicker, crisper and more precise steering, mean that the N430 delivers superb manoeuvrability and driving dynamics.
Power is directed to the wheels through a composed six-speed manual gearbox, or alternatively through a seven-speed “Sportshift II" transmission.
The vehicle is kept safe from theft by a Category 5 Thatcham tracking device and boasts a vast number of interior options, including a 1000-watt Bang & Olufsen BeoSound stereo with ICEpower.
