Introduction

Behold the most driver-focused V8 Vantage ever produced, the Aston Martin Vantage GT8 - a limited-run, race-inspired jewel. Only 150 units are being built, plus three pre-production cars – all of which have already been sold.

From 29th March – 13th April, Customer Previews took place at the Aston Martin Factory, with the Vantage GT8’s Global Announcement taking place quite aptly at the opening round of the World Endurance Championship at Silverstone on 13th April.

Aston Martin has focused greatly on aerodynamics and weight saving for this elite new model; the lightest Vantage ever - having lost 75-100kg - boasts an astonishing 440bhp from its provoking 4.7-litre V8, complemented by its dynamic character and sporting DNA. Reach 62mph from a standing start in just 4.4 seconds up to 190mph flat out.

Experience a supreme driving experience in the Aston Martin Vantage GT8, enhanced by inimitable, striking style and an athletic, determined stance.

Vantage Range

Design

The GT8’s striking design sits on a 50mm wider track, accentuating its muscle. Carbon-fibre bodywork is dramatically sculpted and shaped, with cutaway front wheel arches like that of the GTE racer.

Enjoy the re-trimmed carbon-fibre lightweight seat behind the wheel, with Aston Martin even offering the option of a lower centre console in the Vantage GT8.

The standard car is available in any colour, complete with a gloss black front grille, side, rear and mesh grille. ‘Halo’ two-tone colour schemes are available, offering eye-catching combinations of China Grey and Blue, Stratus White and Green or Stirling Green and Lime, perfectly highlighting the Vantage GT8’s vibrant character and ability.

To take the Vantage GT8 to the next level, select the optional Accent and Carbon packs, upgrade the 19-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels to ultra-lightweight seven-spoke centre-lock magnesium rims or elevate the stainless exhaust to optional the titanium finish.

Safety

All Vantage GT8s are fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres that offer exceptional performance both on the road and track, plus track-focused suspension has been specially tuned to offer a sharper, more involving driver experience.

Carbon-fibre body panels offer supreme strength and rigidity for optimal protection, used in many places, including the roof, door panels, seats, front splitter, front and rear bumpers, side sills and rear diffuser. Add the optional Aero Pack to add a carbon-fibre rear spoiler and additional corner elements to the front splitter.

Full detailing on safety systems included on the Vantage GT8 has not yet been released, but if the V8 Vantage is anything to go by, the GT8 will at the very minimum feature anti-lock brakes, stability control, airbags, seatbelt pretensioners and an advanced security system.

Every inch of this thrilling car has been refined, offering superior protection on the road and racing.

Technology

The Aston Martin Vantage GT8’s rear wheels are driven by either a 6-speed manual or Sportshift™ II paddle-shift transmission, plus both steering and dampers have been revised for a more dynamic, controlled driving experience.

In addition to this, the GT8’s chassis has been retuned and this blisteringly quick sports car has been given more power and torque. Dynamic and with lightning quick responses, the Vantage GT8 is as close as you can get on the road to the GT4 race car.

The Aston Martin Vantage GT8 is well-equipped for everyday journeys, featuring air conditioning to keep you cool in the cabin, a 160w audio system to deliver crisp, clear sound and the latest AMi II touch-sensitive infotainment setup to keep you entertained and connected - it comes complete with satellite navigation and Bluetooth as standard and is seamlessly integrated into the dashboard.
