• Readers of "auto motor und sport" elect the coupé as the most beautiful sports car in 2011
• Virage Volante and the Aston Martin Cygnet where both placed second in the "Convertible" and " Small Cars" categories respectively

Aston Martin has successfully positioned itself as this year's choice for the "Best New Design" of the automobile magazine "auto motor und sport".
Readers of the magazine have elected the Aston Martin Virage twice for the winner’s podium: With 34.4 percent of readers' votes giving the coupé a solid victory in the category "sports car", the Virage Coupé was awarded the autonis Design Award for the "Most Beautiful Car 2011". The Virage Volante followed in second place in the category “Convertibles”. Also included in the podium finishes, was the Aston Martin Cygnet scoring a second place in the category of "Small cars”.
Aston Martin has in the last two years been awarded with the autonis Design Award. "We are delighted with this hattrick. It is a great honour for us, that it is now the third year in a row that as a foreign brand in Germany, Aston Martin has been voted as number one, "said Jeffrey L Scott, Managing Director Aston Martin Lagonda of Europe, on receiving the autonis Wednesday evening in Stuttgart. "In a tough competitive environment to be represented with three models on the podium emphasizes the high level of the internationally recognized design expertise of Aston Martin."
Almost 23,000 readers of the magazine "auto motor und sport" took part in this year's autonis readers’ choice. They selected their "Most Beautiful Car 2011" from 83 new model releases in eight categories.
