Audi Q range to be completed?

With the Q3, Q5 and Q7 already on the roads, Audi has now claimed the rights to the Q2 and Q4 names from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) to slot in to the range of upcoming crossover SUVs.

Rupert Stadler, Audi CEO, confirmed at the Detroit Motor Show that the FCA had released the two names, which means that Audi can now run from Q1 to Q9 for a complete Q line-up. SQ names have also been trademarked by the Bavarian brand, so we may see a performance range of the entire Q model line-up too.

The growing SUV family may even include f-tron, which could potentially complement e-tron and h-tron in their range of alternative powered vehicles.

The Q2 name will reportedly be used to brand the MQB-based city crossover this year, and the Q4 badge will potentially name a ‘coupe’ version of the next Q3.

We will have to wait and see what emerges from the Audi Q line-up in the future, but if you can’t wait for the Q2 or the Q4, why not test drive the Q3, Q5 or Q7 at Jardine Motors Audi now? You won’t be disappointed.
