Audi’s intense winter driver training

In preparation for the 2016 season, which will kick off on Sunday 17th April with the Six Hours of Silverstone, the Audi DTM and World Endurance Championship racing teams have been training in Lanzarote.

Racing driver Oliver Jarvis from Newmarket was amongst the group for the six-day training and team building camp, which aims to get the team ready for the intense season ahead with a programme including cycling, football, swimming and tennis.

Dr Wolfgang Ullrich, Head of Audi Motorsport, along with Dieter Gass and Chris Reinke, also made an appearance at this vital stage of preparation, watching on as nine-time Le Mans champion and team physician Dr Vincenzo Tota put the group through their paces.

Jarvis will compete in the full World Endurance Championship with Audi once again, alongside Loic Duval and Lucas Di Grassi, getting behind the wheel of an R18 e-tron quattro.
