New Audi A3 Sportback in London

The 3D A3’s flying visit to London

At the start of August, we told you that the Audi A3 Sportback was London-bound as part of the brand’s #A3LookAgain campaign. For those of you who couldn’t make it to ‘The Big Smoke’ in time to see this unique 3D work of art for yourself, here’s what happened.

Local 3D artists - Joe and Max - used the pavement as their canvas, painting a pop-up A3 for Londoners to see. In just one day, the skilled duo brought London’s South Bank to life, with a life-size Audi A3 Sportback image adorning the capital’s cobbles.

The Guinness World Record holders have worked with Google, Disney, Coca-Cola… and now Audi. The idea of the campaign was to raise awareness of the updated A3 and let people interact with its various new features including flatter headlights, a broader single frame grille and revamped wheels – all of which Joe and Max expertly incorporated into their painting.

After they’d completed their masterpiece, Joe and Max’s A3 was on display outside the Southbank Centre for a total of 26 hours, with members of the public able to stand, sit and jump on the work of art, tweeting #A3LookAgain.

If you didn’t get a chance to see the 3D work of art in the flesh, explore all of the A3 Sportback’s features for yourself with Jardine Motors Audi.
