The Audi 2018 Electric Line-up

The automotive world has been plugged in to electric power for a while already, but battery-powered vehicles are most definitely the future, with more and more new hybrid and all-electric models being released from every angle.

Audi has already created and launched the popular A3 Sportback e-tron, plus the eagerly-anticipated all-new Q7 e-tron is almost here, but the Bavarian manufacturer is rumoured to be planning something more. A leaked product plan shows how Audi is set to unveil an extended electric line-up in 2018, just two years from now.

This extended selection of electric models is said to include a crossover and an SUV, both of which we have had glimpses of in the past. The crossover is currently dubbed the C-BEV, which has been confirmed as the plush, potent 496bhp Q6 e-tron quattro. A larger, range-topping, upmarket Q8 e-tron SUV will follow soon after, offering a premium, luxurious, capable solution for families that are conscious of eco-friendly automotive travel – this striking vehicle was teased at the Geneva Motor Show in 2015.

The leaked product plan also includes a new TT RS, RS 5 Coupé, RS 3, a V6 R8 and a new A8 too. Added to the two electric vehicle offerings, 2018 is set to be an incredibly exciting year for Audi, offering a premium range of all-electric vehicles.
