The all-new model has followed in its predecessor’s footsteps, which won two prestigious World Performance Car awards and a World Car Design of the Year award.
The sensational second-generation R8 was presented with a total of four awards, making it the most successful model in the entire history of the World Car Awards. An international jury of 73 leading automotive journalists chose to make this sublime supercar a winner on the road as well as on the track. With V10 and V10 plus options, offering 533 or 602bhp respectively from the 5.2-litre petrol engine, utilise the quattro® permanent all-wheel drive and 7-speed S tronic automatic transmission to reach 0 – 62mph in a lightning 3.5 or blistering 3.2 seconds, all the way to a top speed of 198mph in the V10 or 205mph in the V10 plus.

Dry, wet and snow settings can also be selected to provide the R8 with optimum traction.
