The power is not the only thing that’s impressive about the engine though; Audi have added a third, electrically-powered turbocharger, which is powered with an extra 48v battery under the floor of the boot. Its purpose is to reduce lag by spinning at up to 70,000rpm. It works. The SQ7 gathers speed at an exhilarating rate, rumbling and snarling like a caged beast.
