June saw a mix of pleasure and business for some of Jadines finest marques, when dozens of cards made the 250-mile trip from the UK to an exclusive champagne region in France.
Jardine Motors Group organised this trip, for the first time on this scale, for their Bentley customers and other high luxury sector vehicles.
This event saw 27 supercars take part, including Five Bentleys and a dozen Aston Martins as well as Ferraris, McLaren’s, Maseratis and Lamborghinis. The three day event began with a meeting at a golf club for breakfast early morning and introductions right before heading towards the Eurotunnel.
On arrival in France, the group stopped for lunch at the St Quentin, with the warm welcoming of local residents, before deciding whether to take a scenic or direct route to the final destination; the five-star Royal Champagne Hotel in Champillon.
The party stopped en route to visit the magnificent Champagne Collet chateau in the South of Reims where they enjoyed a cellar and museum tour and delicate tasting session. The Brand Director of high luxury sector, Richard Gordon was joined by Aston Martin Marketing Manager, Lucia Jenkins, Jardine Motors Group Chief Executive, Mark Herbert, Aston Martin Sales Manager, Simon Lane and Dealer Principal of McLaren London, Alastair Sommerville.
The trip allowed dealers to be offer a truly personal service to benefit the prospective customers, creating friendly long-term relationships and potentially new business partners.
