BMW 5 Series Range

Design

In the seventh generation of the sportiest business saloon, kidney grille and headlights are directly linked for the first time ever. The low roof line sloping to the rear lends the muscular body an elegant coupé-like silhouette and the broad rear emphasises the high performance capacity of the BMW 5 Series.  Thanks to more lightweight materials such as aluminium and ultra-modern aluminium alloys, the new BMW 5 Series weighs in at up to 100 kilograms less than its predecessor. The intelligent lightweight construction also ensures a balanced weight distribution between front and rear axle as well as a lower centre of gravity. The result is highly dynamic driving characteristics.

Technology

The new BMW 5 Series combines state-of-the-art with technology and driving assistance systems with an unmatched degree of connectivity and convenience.  Forget everything you know about the traditional car key. The BMW Display Key is a smart piece of technology that connects you to your new BMW 5 Series. A remote control and a touchscreen display in one, you can use it to park your vehicle, check your fuel, set the cabin temperature and see whether your BMW 5 Series is locked. And for those that prefer something simpler, the BMW 5 Series also comes with two conventional remote keys.  The infotainment system can be fed input through five different methods; a rotary iDrive knob, touchscreen, voice control, touch input and gesture control.

Safety

Awarded Euro NCAP rating 5, you and your passengers are in safe hands with the new BMW 5 Series. New safety and driver assistant systems include collision warning, cross traffic warning, pedestrian warning with city breaking, lane control assistant and active side collision protection.
