Design

Sublime craftsmanship and attention to detail lie at the heart of the BMW Gran Coupé. The exterior features sleek contours and a beautifully sculpted bonnet. LED headlights flank the kidney grille with its chrome-plated double slats, while the considerable air intakes hint at the power that lies beneath the bonnet. A strong crease runs along the side skirting, above flared wheel arches to reach the car's muscular rear shoulders. Here you'll also find twin tailpipes, ready at a moment's notice to provide a taste of what the car's V8 engine is capable of delivering.

Safety

A range of active and passive safety features can be found throughout the car. The rigid structure of the M6 Gran Coupé will help to protect you and any passengers in the event of a collision. In addition, the car's computer will look for signs of driver fatigue and issue a warning if necessary. The model's LED headlights help to provide maximum visibility by adjusting automatically to suit the road conditions. They will also work to avoid dazzling other road users.BMW's Emergency Call function is there to help in the event of an accident and is capable of automatically contacting the emergency services if you are unable.

Technology

At the heart of this athletic and agile machine lies a fierce M TwinPower turbo charged V8 petrol engine. Supported by a double-clutch transmission, the powertrain is capable of unleashing 560bhp and accelerating from 0-60mph in a fraction under 4.2 seconds. Optional carbon ceramic brakes are available to provide the ultimate stopping power.

Performance

With a beating 8 Cylinder 560 horsepower engine, the M6 Gran Coupe puts out a top speed of 155mph and a 0-62mph time in just 4.2 seconds, slightly faster than the M6 Convertible, although that’s to be expected. Despite the almost two-tonne weight, the car handles surprisingly well, with various traction control systems helping to keep you the right way up as fast as possible.
