JARDINE MOTORS GROUP RAISES OVER £13,000 FOR CHARITY

Businesses from around the West Midlands joined Jardine Motors Group for an evening of glitz and glamour at its annual Audi charity ball to raise £13,513 for UK charities Whizz-Kidz, Legacy4Lucy and Promise Dreams.

Guests donned their dancing shoes for the event at Dunstall Park and were treated to a night of fine dining, dancing and raising funds for three worthy causes. Sponsored by Three Pines Builders and Individual Specialist Cars, the evening took on a ‘music through the decades’ theme and laid on a selection of retro arcade games to transport guests back in time.

The fantastic £13,513 was raised via ticket sales, and boosted by further entertainment on the night including an auction, silent auction and raffle, all with some exclusive items on offer. The funds will go towards helping to transform the lives of children with disabilities across the UK via the work of Whizz-Kidz, helping to find a cure for breast cancer via Legacy4Lucy, and helping to make the dreams of terminally-ill children come true through Promise Dreams.

Andy Davies, Audi Brand Director at Jardine Motors Group, comments: “It’s an absolute privilege to be able to support Whizz-Kidz, Legacy4Lucy and Promise Dreams for the 6thyear running. All are brilliant charities that truly make a difference for the people they support. We’d like to offer a huge thank you to everyone who came along, as well as our sponsors, Three Pines and Individual Specialist Cars, whose generosity enabled this year’s annual ball to be our most successful yet, raising an amazing £13,513.”

Not only has the 2019 Charity Ball been Jardine Motors Group’s most successful year to date, but the company has now raised over £63,000 since starting the annual event six years ago.

Promise Dreams is a charity that aims to make a real difference to children who are seriously or terminally ill. Whether it be going on a holiday of a lifetime or meeting their celebrity heroes, Promise Dreams hopes to make them come true for the whole family in need.

Jardine Motors Group formed a charity partnership with Whizz-Kidz in 2014. Both organisations share common values and purpose and are focused on providing mobility. Jardine Motors Group donates £25 for every Motability vehicle sold by one of their dealerships and offers work placement opportunities to young people with disabilities in a variety of roles.
