The Italian luxury sports car manufacturer, Ferrari, has announced details of the unveiling of its new FF supercar. The model will be showcased at Italy’s Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este, on the shores of Lake Como on February 15. The picturesque venue has attracted some of the world’s most prestigious and exclusive cars for their global debut since 1929.
FF stands for ‘Ferrari Four’, indicating the model’s four seats and four-wheel drive. The newest iteration will be revealed to the press and public following the recent release of teaser photographs.
What we already know is that the grille and air intakes have increased in size. It is speculated that the 6.3-litre V12 engine will receive more airflow as a result, with power increasing from the 651bhp of the 2011 model.
Other cosmetic changes are likely to include redesigned bumpers and headlights, while inside, the FF is likely to take its design cue from the 488, which was introduced last year.
It is believed that refinements to the chassis and the introduction of an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox will also be part of the package.
