Ferrari success at the World Endurance Championship

The last round of the World Endurance Championship (WEC) was held in Bahrain at the end of November. Called 6 Hours of Bahrain, it was the final stage of a worldwide contest that saw both triumph and defeat for Ferrari.

The SMP Racing team won the GTE-am title in Ferrari no. 72. The AF Corse Ferrari 458 Italia came second on the day, driven by Gianmaria Bruni and Toni Vilander. It was an exciting day of racing that rounded off an incredible season. 6 Hours of Silverstone was hosted in April 2015, when the UK enjoyed the action of the motoring endurance event.

Ferrari’s racing division and its success on the track continues to inform and inspire the design of its road-going production cars. There are several new and exciting models currently on the drawing board and about to enter production, in addition to the current line-up that is available in Lancaster showrooms now.

If you would like to enquire about taking any of the Ferrari models on display in our state-of-the-art showroom for a test drive, please contact the sales team at our dealership in Colchester.
