The Geneva Motor Show has this month played host to the Jaguar F-TYPE SVR reveal, a new range-topping model variant produced by Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO).

The SVR all-weather supercar is available in both coupé and convertible forms and boasts four-wheel drive, ceramic brakes, upgraded suspension, enhanced aerodynamics and bold styling upgrades, taking performance, dynamics and driver engagement to a new level.

Its 5.0-litre V8 supercharged petrol engine, matched with an eight-speed automatic gearbox, produces 567bhp; it has a top speed of 200mph and can accelerate from 0 – 62mph in a blistering 3.5 seconds.

John Edwards, Managing Director for SVO at Jaguar Land Rover, commented on the new model, saying: ‘The new F-TYPE SVR is the first series production Jaguar to be developed by Special Vehicle Operations and benefits from everything we know about precision engineering, performance and design’.
