Jaguar has been voted the winner of two categories of vehicle design at the prestigious Autonis design awards in Germany. The votes were cast by readers of Auto Motor und Sport, Germany’s leading motoring magazine.
The stunning Jaguar XF took the upper-middle class category by storm, with 42 percent of the votes. The victory was decisive over rivals such as the Audi A6 and the BMW 7 Series. The all-new Jaguar XE took 36 percent of the vote share in the middle class category. Jaguar also celebrated its silver medal in the design brand of the year class.
Land Rover, in the same family as Jaguar, enjoyed the biggest win of the awards. The biggest margin in any category was won by the Range Rover Evoque in the SUV class, which received twice as many votes as its nearest competitor.
These awards take their place in Jaguar’s already well-populated trophy cabinet, with accolades from UK motoring magazine, AutoExpress, also heaped upon the XF.
