Maserati Levante

The Levante marks Maserati’s first venture into the SUV arena, over 100 years since the marque was established. This pioneering creation completes the Italian brand’s line-up, which also includes the distinguished Quattroporte, Ghibli, GranTurismo and GranCabrio models.

Find distinctive Maserati design cues and Italian character in this revolutionary crossover, which guarantees to evoke emotion – the Maserati of SUVs has arrived, and the Levante is already making waves.

Just a glimpse of the Maserati Levante is enough to impress, as it’s striking from every angle. Reflecting the instantly recognisable nature of the Maserati line-up, the Levante conveys their athletic appearance and muscular stance, making it undeniably Maserati.

With the iconic Maserati grille at the nose, enclosed by the piercing, tapered headlights that lead to the trademark air vents just behind the front wheel arches, the Levante exudes Italian refinement. Moving to the back, appreciate the frameless, tapered rear windows that form a natural curve down to the company’s ‘Saetta’ logo, sitting on the trapezoidal C-pillar.

Its sleek, coupé-like shape and bold, curved rear create a streamlined silhouette that has been aerodynamically designed, complemented by the Levante’s roof spoiler, steep rear windscreen, sporty bumper and exhaust pipe setup.

The opulent interior boasts pure Italian sophistication, with richly coloured leather upholstery that flows from the seats onto the doors and dashboard, surrounding the central infotainment screen that’s ready to transform the cabin into whatever you want it to be.

As you would expect, the Maserati Levante comes complete with the most advanced technologies, both in its configuration and infotainment.

The specially-designed chassis offers unrivalled handling in an archetypal Maserati fashion, able to perform on both rough and smooth surfaces, taking on any terrain with ease.

Sophisticated electronic suspension with controlled damping and air springs - which is able to be set at different heights - comes as standard, along with intelligent all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission that has been specially attuned to the Levante’s requirements. With a choice of petrol and diesel engines, all of which are Euro6 compliant, you just need to decide where you would like your Maserati Levante to take you.

The Levante includes many new innovations in both passive and active safety to ensure that this newly released model is not only an exceptional drivers car, but an exceptionally safe one at the same time.

Standard fit features include multiple airbags, anti-lock brakes, Maserati’s ESC traction and stability control programme and ISOFIX mounting points for the safe fitment of child seats. Furthermore, the model now offers Adaptive Cruise Control which will automatically maintain a safe distance from other vehicles, as well as make progress on its own in stop-start traffic.

Also available is a lane-departure warning system which will alert the driver if sensors detect that the car is wandering between lanes on a dual carriageway or motorway environment.

A 360 degree view camera ensures that parking and manoeuvring in tight spots is not only an easier process but also safer, as a result of the increased visibility it offers the driver of any hazards.

The Levante’s intelligent active safety systems are continuously scanning the road ahead for potential obstacles and offer automatic braking assistance should an impending crash be detected. Furthermore the system has the ability to recognise braking inputs (when an obstacle has been detected) and will automatically maximise the braking force distributed.
