The design of the refurbished showrooms is as advanced as the supercars they contain. Floor-to-ceiling windows and the light-diffusing materials of the interior enhance the building’s bright, commodious nature and allow you to see the vehicles at their best. The state-of-the-art heating system also reduces costs and minimises carbon emissions – just like the efficient engines and lightweight, aerodynamic frames of the Ghibli, Granturismo, Grancabrio and Quattroporte models, which were first displayed at a special opening-day event in late February.
The refurbishment of Lancaster Maserati Colchester, part of the nationwide Jardine Motors Group, is one of a number of upgrades taking place at the marque’s dealerships throughout the company’s “Maserati North Europe” region. In Britain, the company’s officially authorised dealers in Cardiff, Blackburn, Glasgow, Maidstone, and Peterborough have all been recently revamped to bring them in to line with Maserati’s corporate identity. Improved facilities also enable the improved dealerships, in the words of Maserati North Europe’s Regional Manager Peter Denton, to “[increase] volume growth and [gives us] the opportunity to showcase exciting new model introductions”.
Jardine’s General Manager Simon Beecher, for his part, praised the new showroom for its “more intimate, high-tech, state-of-the-art environment that reflects the lifestyle and emotion of the brand”. As the marque’s official dealer in Essex, Lancaster Maserati looks forward to exhibiting its selection of high-performance sportscars and grand tourers to customers across Colchester and the surrounding area.
