Mercedes-Benz have revealed the new and exclusive S-Class Coupé “Night Edition” which will make its worldwide debut at the Detroit auto show in January 2017.
This exclusive addition to the S-Class range is a two-door Coupé but with some very distinguishable features.
The exterior of the S-Class Coupé "Night Edition" includes both the distinctive radiator grille and 20-inch AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheels painted in high-gloss black. The wheels are particularly exclusive to the “Night Edition” S-Class which feature high-sheen detailing to accentuate the paintwork. “Black” is very much part of the theme and influence behind the “Night Edition”, as the high-gloss black exterior mirror housings and the inserts in the side sill panels complement the Selenite grey magno painted bodywork. Additionally, front and rear aprons with AMG bodystyling come as standard, while "Night Edition" badges on the front wings are unique additions to the exterior.
On the inside, engraved "Night Edition" wording features on the insert of the nappa leather AMG sports steering wheel. Customers can choose from a range of upholstery leather options including nappa leather, or AMG nappa leather, in black/black; crystal grey/black; saddle brown/black; or Bengal red/black. The luxury leather is complemented by a high-gloss black poplar wood trim which features as standard.
Overall, the S-Class Coupé “Night Edition” oozes style with a generous equipment range and superb performance characteristics. The S 500 Coupé variant – which can achieve a top speed of 155mph and a 0-62 mph time of just 4.6 seconds – will be open to order for UK customers from January.
