Winter tyres

Winter tyres are invaluable assets when travelling in low temperatures, and particularly in icy or snowy conditions.

Installed as a complete set of four, winter tyres have been proven to improve durability and overall responsiveness in temperatures below seven degrees. The tyres are approved by the British Tyre Manufacturers’ Association, and are designed using natural rubber and enhanced silica. This unique combination means that low temperatures are prevented from hardening the rubber.

Winter tyres, which are available across a broad range of Mercedes-Benz models, also perform excellently in wet conditions, and boast the ability to outlive any type of basic road tyre. They also reduce braking distances in temperatures of seven degrees or below, bringing the braking distance of a car travelling at 20mph to 11 metres on icy roads.
