Mercedes-Benz of Chelmsford is now able to offer local car buyers a taste of the iconic smart.

A smart is on permanent display in the site’s showroom and a further two demonstrators are available. Existing owners can now also enjoy the benefits of official smart servicing at the White Hart Lane outlet.

As Richard Fall, smart sales executive, explains, the development is already proving a success. "Customers are enjoying the convenience of having smart on their doorstep and although we are not a fullsized operation, we are able to arrange test drives and process sales," said Richard. "By having the brand on-site we can provide visitors with increased choice and value, the smart being particularly appealing at the moment not only due to its low running costs but also our very affordable finance offers."
