smart cars are now more powerful than ever. German car tuning company BRABUS has refined three models from smart, and the sporty results will be on sale in the UK from July.
The new smart BRABUS range has stronger engine power and a range of modifications to make the car faster, more responsive and even more fun to drive.
BRABUS tuning is available on the smart Fortwo, Fortwo Cabrio and Forfour, which come with a sporty design inside and out.
The new BRABUS range will be the most powerful standard smart cars ever made. The improved 898cc three-cylinder turbo engine can now reach 109bhp.
Another big change is the sharper handling. BRABUS has stiffened the suspension by 20% and cut body roll by 9% with a new anti-roll bar.
The new variable steering has speed-sensitive power assistance and better control for the driver. And the improved six-speed dual clutch automatic transmission makes gear changes 40% faster.
The smart BRABUS range even has a Race Start function. This automatically sets the optimal rpm and clutch slip for the fastest acceleration from stationary.
Cars in the range come with a new sporty style, complete with chrome-look pipes and matte grey wheel alloys. The Forfour and Fortwo Cabrio also have a panoramic roof.
Meanwhile, the BRABUS Xclusive premium line comes with sports seats and BRABUS branded interiors and dashboard instruments.
Customers can also design their perfect car with smart’s Tailor Made scheme. Choose your own colour combinations and design features for both exterior and interior.
