The popular and stylish Mk6 Golf Cabriolet has received some major tweaks to its engines and styling to enhance its appeal ahead of the Frankfurt Motor Show. The four-seater soft top convertible will be even sportier and more efficient than ever to secure its position as a car that appeals to your head and your heart.
The re-styled bumpers and side sills give the Cabriolet contemporary road presence along with new exterior paint options and wheel designs. Inside, new fabric and leather upholstery and an updated steering wheel ensure the cabin is a refined space to experience the thrill of the drive.
Powering the new-look Cabriolet is the same range of four petrol and two diesel engine options, all of which have been uprated to make them Euro6 compliant. This has boosted fuel economy, with the most efficient engine the 2.0-litre TDI which develops 109bhp and returns 65mpg with low emissions of just 109 g/km.
The refreshed Golf Cabriolet will be on display at the Frankfurt Motor Show later this month alongside the Mk7 Golf and new Tiguan SUV. You will be able to order the new-look model from Lancaster Volkswagen in November this year so follow our updates here to be the first to know.
