Volvo has announced that the most popular variant of their premium SUV is the Inscription. With a specification that features Nappa leather upholstery, 20-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and a 12.3-inch display, the Inscription trim lends a refined feel to the XC90.
The model has accounted for 76% of orders worldwide and 41% of UK sales. This is more than double Volvo’s initial forecast and suggests there is a massive demand for well-appointed vehicles, both in the UK and around the world. As the Inscription’s surge in popularity has exceeded Volvo’s expectations, there is a slightly longer waiting time on this model than the entry level Momentum according to a spokesperson.
All models boast exceptional performance and efficiency, with class-leading infotainment features such as a voice control system and a touch screen that you can operate even while wearing gloves. The second-generation XC90 has been declared the AutoExpress Car of the Year 2015, and Volvo claim it has the most comprehensive safety package of any car on the market.
