The Great Court at Blenheim Palace hosted the premiere of the specially-commissioned one-hour documentary DB10: Built for Bond in November. The premiere was attended by a spectacular parade of the greatest Aston Martin models ever built, both current and classic.
The documentary follows the story of the creation of the DB10 for Spectre, the latest James Bond film and twelfth to feature an Aston Martin car. The model was developed specifically for Bond, and was built in just six months by the in-house design and engineering teams.
Aston Martin creates luxury performance cars, and has a long and rich 50 year history as the provider of James Bond’s cars. The cars featured in the films are iconic models, although they feature more weapons and gadgets than most Aston production cars.
The film contains exclusive interviews with the team that brought the DB10 to life. Spectreactor Daniel Craig, director Sam Mendes and producer Michael G. Wilson also discuss their thoughts on the DB10 and the special partnership between Bond and Aston Martin.
The DB10 is not on sale to the public, but you can discover the current model line-up at Lancaster Aston Martin in Sevenoaks and Cambridge.
