Audi A3 Cabriolet

If you’re the kind of person who likes to feel the wind in your hair, or maybe even feel you’re being watched enviously by those around you, then the Audi A3 Cabriolet is the car for you.

It’s a car that beautifully and effortlessly combines athletic styling with sophisticated convertible design. And it’s a car that can certainly be enjoyed at any speed. When you take the A3 Cabriolet onto quicker routes the roof can easily be kept closed to protect you from the elements. However, when you’re cruising around in the sunshine, it’s a different story all together.

Audi A3 Range

We all want to look stylish and sleek on the road, but we also want to feel looked after and safe while driving on the road.

This is why Audi has equipped the A3 Cabriolet with many different safety features so that you don’t have to worry about it.

The Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system incorporates numerous active technologies which work together to counter any loss of control. And during any emergency braking, the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) will prevent the wheels from locking up and causing not only instability with the car but also any unexpected wavering with your windswept hair.

When it comes to striking design features and attractive qualities, Audi like to have it covered from top to bottom – literally.

The Audi A3 Cabriolet’s retractable soft-top roof is one of these eye-catching aspects of the convertible that adds to its massive appeal. This striking feature is complemented by Xenon Plus headlamps (S line Nav only), front fog lights, alloy wheels and subtle hints of chrome that are dotted across the sleek outer body.

Audi also like to cover everything outside and in, so the high-level of detail and quality is matched within the Cabriolet itself. Passengers can sit in sports seats in all but the entry-level SE variant, while leather and cloth upholstery features in the S line Navigation model.

The wide selection of engines in the Audi Cabriolet range allow you to align the car’s performance with your own preferences. Optimum thrills are provided by the 181bhp 2.0-litre TDI quattro engine which powers you from zero to 60mph in 7.6 seconds.

The 1.8-litre TFSI quattro completes this feat in the same time, coming in just below the diesel’s peak economy of up to 56.5mpg combined.

Inside the convertible, technology is placed at your fingertips to connect and engage you with people, entertainment and networks. A Bluetooth interface enables you to use your mobile phone hands-free in the car, and audio streaming of stored music is possible through the interactive interface.

What’s more, SD card-based satellite navigation ensures you reach your destination with information on the best route. The system can also be operated using the retractable interface, steering wheel controls, or even with voice control.

The Audi A3 quattro system is the Hydraulic multi-plate clutch system. This type of quattro is designed for models that have the engine mounted across the chassis. With a front wheel bias in normal driving conditions, up to 100% of the power can be sent to the rear wheels when needed.

The A3 Cabriolet is available in different versions, known as trim levels. These allow you to choose a version that reflects your preferred styling, driving experience and equipment level. Standard equipment and the choice of options both vary by trim.
