A sporty and robust SUV, the Audi Q5 has a long, broad body and smooth, sweeping lines that speak of quiet class and refinement. Yet its alter-ego takes a competent stance on off-road terrain, including snow, gravel and mud, providing the pleasure of a sporty driving style and assured handling – even on difficult surfaces.
The new Audi Q5 can be discovered in more detail and taken for a test drive at Jardine Motors Group dealerships today.
The new Audi Q5 echoes the design style of the Q3, with its low stance, flared wheel arches and alloy wheels, and Audi claims it is the most streamlined and aerodynamic car in its class.
In the cabin, luxury Milano or Fine Nappa leather seats and elegant aluminium inlays come as standard – along with climate control, leather sports seats with electrically adjustable lumbar support, S-line inlays, and an S-line multifunction three-spoke steering wheel trimmed in black leather.
The new Audi Q5 has achieved a full five-star NCAP safety rating for its range of features, including front and rear ISOFIX child seat mountings with front passenger airbag deactivation switch, as well as side airbags for driver and front passenger seats. Audi’s revolutionary Break Recommendation system is also installed and analyses driving behaviour based on steering, pedals and gear lever movements, notifying you of the possible need to take a break if it detects a change in driving patterns.
With a range of engines available, the new Audi Q5 is a powerful beast. It also offers Off Road Detection that re-programmes the ESP system, traction control and anti-lock braking system to adapt to the relevant driving conditions. Three-zone climate control, light and rain sensors, rear parking sensors, cruise control, plus a wide range of driver-assistance systems are also available to make driving effortless. In the cabin, a Bluetooth interface, Driver’s Information System with colour display, voice-activated HDD sat nav system, and a ten-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system are installed to keep you relaxed and on course.
