Our top class A6 is the toast of carwow’s online automotive community who voted it Car of the Year 2018.
The A6 beat tough competition from the Mercedes A-Class in a poll in which the car review website’s 23-million strong YouTube audience cast the deciding vote.
The Audi also won the carwow Luxury award.
The awards were decided by carwow’s team of in-house reviewers and writers, led by editorial director Mat Watson, and based on what visitors to carwow are watching and reading.
Mat described the A6 as a ‘mini Audi A8’, and the wider Carwow judging panel elaborated by saying: “It looks sharp inside and out, oozes quality from every pore and cocoons you in comfort. And with upgrades such as air-suspension and rear wheel steering you really will be travelling first class."
The new A6 saloon arrived in the UK this summer and features many of the refinements and innovations that have been so widely acclaimed in the latest A8 luxury flagship.
The A6 boasts a beautifully proportioned new body, advanced mild hybrid drivetrains and sharper yet more comfortable suspension options to its sublime cabin comfort. The driving experience is enhanced by an exceptional new all-digital MMI touch-response interface.
