The New Audi A7 and A8

The all-new luxurious Audi A7 and A8 are here, and packed with amazing intelligent technologies it will make your daily commute a pleasurable experience.

The exterior features of the A7 and A8 are similar in design terms. With an upright Singleframe grille that flows seamlessly into strong muscular lines along the lengths of the car. A sophisticated presense on the road - which is guaranteed to turn heads.

The fourth generation all-new Audi A8 is the first production car to have been specifically developed for highly automated driving. The AI ‘Audi Intelligent’ traffic jam pilot takes control of driving in slow-moving traffic at up to 37mph on major roads where a physical barrier separates the two carriageways. The traffic jam pilot controls starting, accelerating, steering and braking. As soon as the system reaches its limits, it calls on the driver to take back control of the task of driving. From a technical standpoint the traffic jam pilot is revolutionary. During piloted driving, a central driver assistance controller now permanently computes an image of the surroundings by merging the sensor data. As well as the radar sensors, a front camera and the ultrasonic sensors, Audi is the first car manufacturer also to use a laser scanner. The A8 has a starting price of £69,415

The all-new A7 Sportback, has set the standard in its class with its sporty exterior design, futuristic lounge-like interior and comprehensive connectivity. The exterior continues the same new design style as that used in the new A8. Large surfaces, sharp edges and taut lines make the A7 look expressive and dynamic from all angles. The Singleframe front grille is wider and lower than the A8 giving the A7 a sporty look. The rear lights are made up of 13 vertical segments alongside a flat light strip – a design feature common to all of Audi’s top models. The inside of the A7 is designed to look and feel like a futuristic lounge. Horizontal lines and the sleek instrument panel give the car a spacious feel, while the driver-facing centre console again nods to the Grand Tourer character. The upper display is framed in a graphite-grey aluminium clasp which, when combined with the black panel optics, makes the screen almost disappear into the dashboard. The display’s user interface appears as soon as the car is opened and, in keeping with the interior design, the look is succinct. The A7 Sportback has two large, high-resolution MMI touch displays which replace the rotary push button and conventional controls that previous models have. The driver can control the infotainment system from the 10.1-inch upper display, while the 8.6-inch lower screen is used for climate control, comfort functions and text input. The A7 has a starting price of £54,940.
