The Audi quattro Cup 2017

The world’s largest amateur golf tournament, the Audi quattro Cup, began in Germany in 1991 with 51 tournaments. It now spans 51 countries and over 750 tournaments, but there can only be one champion.

Jardine Motors Audi’s tenth year in the event took place at the Beau Desert Golf Club on Tuesday 16th May and proved to be a huge success, with 56 customers from 11 Centres taking part.

An 8.30am breakfast roll started the day off well, followed by customer registration and a 10am shot gun start. The sun was missing from the stunning grounds of Beau Desert, but that didn't dampen the spirits of all taking part!

A fantastic day’s golf, with some tough competition from valued customers, saw the following top ten winners of the day go through to the Regional Final: Mark Bakding, David Battams, Peter Bean, Dave Bevington, Allan Bowerbank, Ian Brougham, Glynn Buckley, Richard Clarke, Andy Cousins and John Crean.

A rolling buffet lunch concluded the successful day, which was enjoyed by all – customer feedback from the event has been fantastic!

From all at Jardine Motors Audi, we wish the best of luck to our qualifiers in the Regional Final in July – and hopefully on to the UK Final in September and the World Final in December, a five-day event that is being held in Mexico.
