Audi had more releases than perhaps any other brand at the Paris Motor Show, but the one that truly stands out is the new Audi RS 3 LMS race car. Based on the all-new RS 3 Sedan, this mean-looking new race car strips away all of the unnecessary everyday driving features, and adds a whole host of exciting racing ones.
Audi Sport have designed the car as part of the TCR FIA-spec racing series, a still relatively young category. This means that for the first time, Audi will be offering a cost-efficient factory-built race car. Offered as a club sport version and with six-speed sequential transmission, the costs will range from €99,000 to €129,000, without VAT. That’s around £88,000 to £115,000.
Unlike many of their competitors, Audi Sport customer racing have opted for a Sedan in the RS 3 LMS, which means it will be a classic touring car. Intensive wind tunnel tests were conducted through the car’s development, resulting in attractive aero components that offer near-perfect aerodynamics.
The Audi RS range offers customers a sporty, supremely dynamic option to favourites such as the A7 and TT, and promise a driving experience unlike any other. You can find the entire RS range here at Jardine Motors Audi, and even book a test drive to find your perfect car today.
