The EU has developed a new test to measure fuel consumption and CO₂ figures called the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP). Official fuel consumption in mpg for the BMW 2 Series range is between 32.5 mpg and 188.3 mpg and CO₂ emission figures range between 36g/km and 199g/km. Values are provided for comparison only, to the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges and do not relate to an individual car or constitute part of the offer.
