Whether you are coming up to the end of your time in formal education or are currently employed, looking to re-train, a great way to kick-start your career in our business is through an apprenticeship scheme. We’ve got many opportunities across varying departments that include workshop technicians, sales and business support (for example finance) and administration.

Our Apprentice roles are based across the country at one of our 70 locations and are recruited throughout the year. They offer a great way to learn on the job, from professionals, while earning a professional qualification.

Your apprenticeship will last between 2 and 3 years, depending on subject, and we offer all of the training you need to not-only succeed in your apprenticeship, but to signpost your future career too.

If you believe in our core values, want to deliver outstanding customer experiences and want a successful career, JMG has exciting opportunities for you to consider.

Parts Apprentice - JLR
Since February 2017

I was the runner up for Babcock’s Parts Apprentice of the year award in 2017, when I was in my first year. Daily, on my apprenticeship, I help with stock replenishment; serve customers and help Technicians with parts for jobs they are doing.

Our work environment is good in many ways – we work in an incredible showroom that was only built a couple of years ago and everybody is friendly, working together to ensure that we get the jobs done efficiently and well.

Apprentice Technician - SKODA
Since June 2016

I’m now in my third year of my apprenticeship and really enjoy working in such a multi-skilled team. I feel that although apprenticeships are readily available elsewhere, we can really offer a long term career and future progression at Jardine, including ongoing training, even after my apprenticeship.

My daily tasks in my apprenticeship currently include servicing vehicles, emptying drainers and clearing scrap. The team I work in are knowledgeable and happy to help me as I gain the skills to take on more complex tasks.

I have a lot of fun at work and we’re pretty welcoming to anyone looking to join, as long as they take on our company values and are team players.

Since December 2016

I’m nearing the half-way mark of my 18 month apprenticeship, which I started after joining Jardine Motors Group, to aid me in completing my CIPD Level 3 qualification.

My apprenticeship is proving to be a great way to gain my CIPD whilst receiving valuable support from not only my team, but other HR departments in the business too. I still do my Recruitment Resourcer job day-to-day but also get the chance to spend 20% of my time at work learning and developing new skills.

I’m continuously very proud to work at Jardine. We are greatly supported and championed, which makes me feel excited to come to work and achieve great results each day.
