THE SCHEME

The programme is designed to give technicians a structured and industry leading career programme over 6 years, with the opportunity at the end of the apprenticeship to own a Snap-On Toolkit worth £10,000*. Furthermore, you'll be working on some of the most desirable sportscars in the world, with leading technicians in their respective fields.

WHAT IS THE SCHEME?

An Advanced Apprenticeship usually takes 3 years, though it can be shorter or longer – you can learn at a pace to suit you. Following the 3 year Advanced Apprenticeship, we offer a 3 year improver programme for you to develop your skills and career even further

WHAT DOES THE SCHEME OFFER?

OUR VEHICLE TECHNICIAN APPRENTICESHIP

(Equivalent to five good GCSE passes) will get you:

IMI Awards VCQ Level 2 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Competence (VCQ, Vocational Competence Qualification, previously known as an NVQ) IMI Awards VRQ Level 2 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles (VRQ, Vocationally Related Qualification) Functional Skills in Literacy, Numeracy and ICT at Level 1.

This will take you approx. 24 months to complete.

ADVANCED APPRENTICESHIPS

(Equivalent to two A-Level passes) To start this programme, you must have completed the Level 2 Apprenticeship. Usually, you’ll move seamlessly from your Level 2 straight onto the Advanced

Apprenticeship. IMI Awards VCQ Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Competence (VCQ, Vocational Competence Qualification, previously known as an NVQ) IMI Awards VRQ Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles (VRQ, Vocationally Related Qualification) Functional Skills in Literacy, Numeracy and ICT at Level 2.

This will take you approx. 18 months to complete.
