Jardine Motors and Whizz-Kidz have been shortlisted for the ‘Corporate Partnership of the Year’ category in the Third Sector Awards. These annual awards celebrate the work of businesses, charities and not-for-profit organisations and the amazing differences that they are making to society.
Our partnership with Whizz-Kidz started in 2014 and over the last five years, we have raised over £1.2m, enabling the charity to provide motorised wheelchairs for young people with disabilities which they may not otherwise have access to.
As well as fundraising, we further support Whizz-Kidz by providing young people with work experience placements, employability workshops and mentoring opportunities where they are able to develop their confidence, increase their skills and reach their full potential.
The Third Sector Awards takes place on Thursday 16 September, 2019 and we wish all shortlisted organisations the best of luck for the evening. For a full shortlisted, please see their website.
