More handling options for the Ferrari California T

Ferrari has announced the release of a new optional HS handling pack for buyers of the latest California T grand tourer.

Confirming the release of the option in late January 2016, the Italian sports car specialists stated that there aim was to create “an even more sporty driving experience” in the convertible.

HS stands for 'Handling Speciale', and is specifically calibrated for a more athletic drive. Evidence of the pack is seen on the front grille and rear diffuser which are finished in Grigio Ferro Met matt grey with black outlines. A brand new exhaust system with integrated silencers also comes fitted to the California T. The design and shape of the pipes alters the exhaust note, giving it more potency.

New settings for the dampers and springs have a large part to play in the sportier driving dynamic. The front springs have been stiffened by 16 percent and the rear springs by 19 percent, to help the Convertible accelerate harder on uneven road surfaces and out of corners.

The difference is even more noticeable in Sport mode. Ferrari has adjusted the gear-shift logic for both manual and automatic transmissions, resulting in an increase in body control and quicker gear changes.

The new HS handling pack within the California T made its official debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show in March, and it is available to order today. Speak to a Lancaster Ferrari representative about your own California T with the HS handling option and for more on the model.
