While marrying power and performance with contemporary style is essential for any Ferrari, the new Ferrari F12TDF has made no sacrifice when it comes to safety.

High-performance anti-lock braking, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, F1 traction control, and Electronic Stability Control have all been incorporated to offer complete protection on the road, while the carbon-ceramic braking system (CCM3) works to eliminate fade and improve stopping distances.


​Designed by the Ferrari Styling Centre, the aim was to craft asophisticated conversation between its sculpted surfaces and aerodynamic features. ​

The interior is uncompromisingly sporty and deliberately Spartan. The door-frames have been pared back to a single carbon-fibre shell. There are carbon-fibre housings for the instruments and satellite pod. Whilst there is no glove compartment at all. Patterned aluminum instead of floor mats. Alcantara rather than traditional leather. Everything in the pursuit of the saving every ast ounce of weight.​


The innovations and enhancements on the F12TDF are numerous and marvelous. There’s an Aerobridge Evo with an innovative flick boosting on the flow of air to the side of the car. A Formula 1 floor wing for underbody vorticity. An active rear diffuser inspired by Formula 1 DRS to reduce drag. Higher spoiler to increase downforce. With many more besides. 

There have also been numerous modifications developed for the prolific engine. New throttle valves, new inlet manifold, hydraulic actuators for managing trump height and increased air intake for higher performance, to name but a few.

And yet, even with all this power and performance, Ferrari engineers aim was to craft a supremely agile and powerful car that could be driven by less expert drivers.
