Honda is pricing its new upcoming Honda HR-V to be widely accessible across the market demographic. Developed with a focus on effective fuel consumption, the HR-V uses the latest engines available from Honda in order to give Honda motorists the greatest value for money.
Alongside its fuel advantages, the HR-V is also being promoted as a practical and flexible vehicle. The boot space is 453 litres as standard, with up to 1,026 litres available after folding down the car's back seats. The car uses Honda's 'Magic Seat' system, which allows for movement of the seat bases in order to create additional room for storage and transport.
Engines powering the HR-V at launch are a 1.5-litre capacity 129bhp petrol engine, and a 1.6-litre capacity 118bhp diesel engine. The diesel engine, when equipped with a six-speed manual gearbox, will be able to achieve a fuel consumption of 71mpg, as well as 104g/km of carbon emissions. It will be available in front-wheel drive only.
It is planned that the Honda HR-V will go on sale during the summer of 2015. Honda will release more details regarding the vehicle's specifications closer to its launch date.
