With ‘The Year of the Cat’ in full flow at Jaguar following the release of the new XE saloon, F-PACE crossover and all-new XF saloon, the brand is now going the extra mile to please customers, extending invitations to the track and to see more than ever before behind the scenes.
Jaguar is soon to launch a new hands-on driving experience allowing brand enthusiasts to get behind the wheel of the Jaguar range on a track, testing their capabilities to the max. The track-focused experience will enable the best demonstration of driving dynamics in the Jaguar line-up in keeping with the iconic British manufacturer’s sporting heritage.
Prospective customers signing up to the Jaguar Experience will be provided with the opportunity to put the model range through its paces at the MIRA testing circuit in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, which will be nothing short of thrilling.
The Jaguar Experience also sees the launch of a range of factory tours for people who want to immerse themselves in the brand and see how Jaguars are put together. Tours are held at the firm’s Castle Bromwich production plant, which has been home to Jaguar since 1977.
With heavy investment in the brand’s new factory tours, expect to be impressed as you witness the pressing of lightweight aluminium body panels and the assembly lines. In the plant’s paint shop, which is the size of eight football pitches, it takes up to 12 hours to coat each vehicle from start to finish.
Zoe Amarilli, venues operations manager at Jaguar Land Rover commented on the new tours, saying ‘We wanted to create an experience where people can be immersed in the Jaguar brand. If someone wants to experience the Jaguar brand and be part of the good news that is Jaguar Land Rover, this is their opportunity. We also have a brand new driving experience at MIRA and there is no better way to fully appreciate the brand than to get behind the wheel of a Jaguar.’
