DESIGN The Range Rover SV is Land Rover’s interpretation of luxury and personalisation in SUV form and, as a result, it’s created a one-of-a-kind travel experience. A unique front bumper and five-bar grille design dominates the exterior, with a ceramic SV logo on the side gills and tailgate. Inside, every last detail has been accounted for, with supreme quality metals, ceramics, sustainably sourced woods, and soft leather, as well as the option for a ‘leather alternative’, covering every inch of the interior. It comes with a choice of two design packages – SV Serenity and SV Intrepid – and, for the first time, a five-seat configuration is available. A contrasting two-tone interior separates the front and rear cabins, and you can also choose from a range of exclusive finishers. Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations service empowers you to create a Range Rover that is uniquely yours, with the possibility of more than 1.6 million personalised design combinations.
TECHNOLOGY To create the ultimate luxury SUV, you need an appropriate amount of tech – a memo that was well received by Land Rover. Up front, drivers benefit from a 13.7” digital instrument cluster and head-up display, whilst Pivi Pro with smartphone integration (including both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto) and voice activation is displayed on a 13.1” central touchscreen. For the ultimate in luxury passenger comfort, the four-seat SV Signature Suite can be chosen, which includes a front-to-rear console, electronically extending table, and an integrated fridge with crystal glassware. You can also opt for a set of 13.1” Rear Seat Entertainment screens which come with high-performance headphones.
SAFETY As with every Range Rover, the new SV comes equipped with a variety of intuitive safety features and advanced driver assistance systems to protect you and your passengers, whilst inspiring you to drive with more confidence. The Range Rover SV comes with a comprehensive list of standard equipment, including autonomous emergency braking, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot assist, rear cross-traffic alert, surround-view cameras, and parking sensors at the front and rear.
FEATURES You have a choice of three powertrains in the new Range Rover SV: a plug-in electric hybrid, mild-hybrid diesel, or twin-turbo V8 petrol. The P510e plug-in electric hybrid combines a 3.0-litre 6-cylinder petrol engine with a 105kW electric motor to deliver an output of 510hp and 77 miles of electric range. For a more efficient drive, you can opt for the D350 diesel engine with mild hybrid technology, which produces 350hp and 700Nm of torque. But perhaps the most thrilling of the bunch is the refined 4.4-litre V8 twin-turbo petrol engine. Land Rover claims that its 17% more efficient and produces 50Nm more torque than the previous 5.0-litre supercharged V8. As a result, the Range Rover SV can sprint from 0 – 62mph in 4.6 seconds, produces 750Nm of torque and reaches a max speed of 162mph. Despite impressive performance on-road, the SUV maintains its great off-road capabilities with the same Terrain Response system as the new Defender.
