Land Rover has revealed plenty of shiny new models at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, and there is also exciting news for those not quite old enough to drive a full-size Defender. To celebrate 60 years of the iconic Defender, Land Rover has revealed a bespoke pedal car version.
The mini off-roader is being marketed as a collectors’ piece, and displays the same meticulous attention to detail and superb build quality as the normal road-going equivalent. Painted in Loire Blue and with an interior finished in tan leather, the new, much more compact Defender is a vehicle any style-conscious child would love to be seen in.
The pedal car even features spring suspension, functioning brakes and a parking brake to make sure toddlers can master every manoeuvre. The production version of the pedal car is expected to retail at £10,000, enough to justify generous equipment levels to go with the stylish appearance.
