The fourth model to join the Range Rover family was premiered at the Design Museum, London, 1st March 2017. The Velar will fill the gap between the Range Rover Evoque and Range Rover Sport. The name Velar is part of Range Rover’s rich heritage, the first Range Rover prototypes designed by Charles Spencer King in the Sixties were named Velar by development engineers to hide the true identity of the 26 pre-production Range Rovers; its Latin meaning, to veil or cover.
The striking mid-sized, five-seat crossover SUV has an elegant simplicity. It features slim LED lights and flush door handles. The cabin is a calm and spacious environment, with state-of-the-art Touch Pro Duo infotainment system turning your vehicle in to a 'digital butler' As to be expected from Land Rover the Range Rover Velar is as capable as it is beautiful and is happy to tackle any terrain.
The new Range Rover Velar is due to land in retailers later this year however, you can be among the first to explore the Velar during the preview tour.
