The partnership formed between Toyota and the Environmental Media Association (EMA) has been continued with Toyota, Lexus and the EMA for the past 15 years. The Toyota Prius has recently been back to California with a transformed appearance – at a green carpet event.
With Toyota and Lexus’ big milestone coinciding with the 25th annual Environmental Media awards at Warner Bros Studios, it seemed only right for the all-new 2016 Prius to make its Hollywood debut at such an occasion, and Lexus showcased innovative models too.
The awards honour film and television productions that communicate environmental messages in creative and influential ways, and this year, The Simpsons was awarded with a special tribute to mark 25 years of excellence in environmental messaging. Gwyneth Paltrow, Kristin David and Don Henley were amongst the honourees.
‘Toyota and Lexus are proud to support and celebrate Hollywood’s positive influence and impact on the planet’, said Bob Carter, Senior Vice President of Automotive Operations for Toyota Motor Sales, USA.
Lexus’ luxury hybrid, the NX 300h AWD, was on show at the awards. It offers class-leading MPG efficiency and a stylish design. The CT F Sport Special Edition also featured at the ceremony, boasting sport-tuned suspension, exclusive F Sport styling and impressive fuel economy.
