Packed with a hugely powerful AMG 5.5-litre V8 BITURBO engine capable of 557hp, dominate the roads as you sprint from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.3 seconds. The engine growls with distinctive power under the bonnet, while the expertly crafted design provides perfect poise and agility to effortlessly dominate the road.

Safety

Included as standard is the active roll stabilisation ACTIVE CURVE SYSTEM, which employs active anti-roll bars on the front and rear axles to reduce the car body’s roll angle during cornering, making for dynamic handling with supreme safety all the time.

The air suspension system is fully load bearing and speed-sensitive, lowering the body at higher speeds to keep drag to a minimum and resulting in a much increased driving stability. Sensors to measure things like the steering angle and the positions of the brake pedal and accelerator are used to infinitely vary adjustment of the current damping force required for each wheel, allowing for maximum road grip in any condition.

The Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 also benefits from 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive, which distributes the drive power in a ratio of 40:60 between the front and rear axles, allowing incredible agility and stability during high-speed cornering. 

Design

A powerful, extroverted design emotively embodies the fascination of motorsport and brings it into everyday life. The characteristic A-wing in the front apron adopts the familiar AMG design philosophy, and two forceful power domes and a new radiator grille make the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 instantly recognizable as part of the AMG family.

Flared wheel arches proudly accented in black make for a visually dominating aspect, reinforced by the ‘V8 BITURBO’ lettering behind the wheel cut-out to advertise the superior engine power of the vehicle. The rear apron of the car continues the dynamic look with diffuser fins and integrated, chrome-plated twin exhaust trims to unapologetically enforce the sporty persona. 

The interior design is no less exclusive, with plenty of luxury fittings and light longitudinal-grain aluminium trim elements for dynamic highlights. Perforated nappa leather with AMG badges on the seats give an exclusive feel, while expert contouring ensures the sports seats feel as good as they look.​

Technology

DYNAMIC SELECT allows the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 to modify its driving dynamics at lightning speed, adapting the feel of the car depending on what mode is selected. For a more restrained dynamic, ‘Comfort’ mode controls the thresholds of the dynamic handling control systems. ‘Sport’ and ‘Sport Plus’ modes allow a much more dynamic handling so the driver can truly feel the full power of the car at their disposal.

The central 11.4cm multifunction display on the instrument cluster provides the driver with a range of information options, including RACETIMER to allow you to track and record lap times and more. The multimedia infotainment system comes packed with helpful functions such as navigation and Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity so you can stay connected wherever you go. 

The AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC transmission is capable of incredible agility and superior responsiveness, making shift speeds and transitions so smooth they are barely perceptible, giving a truly premium experience.
