Comprehensive Roadside Assistance comes free-of-charge for 3 years with any new Mercedes-Benz or 1 year with all Approved Used cars. This means in the unlikely event of you breaking down, we will send a qualified technician to try and fix the problem at the roadside. If this can't be done, the RAC will recover your car to your home, or your nearest Mercedes-Benz retailer.
Cover is also available for customers with cars registered from 24th October 1998* and is automatically activated/renewed on completion of a service by one of our Jardine Mercedes-Benz retailers.
Technical Breakdown**

The latest innovation in vehicle safety. Rescue Assist is a safety system from Mercedes-Benz that uses QR Rescue Codes to give emergency services faster access to critical information at the scene of an accident. Scanning the code gives emergency services information about the structural framework or location of hazardous systems like fuel tanks and batteries to enable a safe, fast rescue operation.
All new Mercedes-Benz models are fitted with Rescue Assist QR Rescue Codes as standard. For cars manufactured from 1990 onwards, Mercedes-Benz offers a free-of-charge retro-fit service.
To maintain your Roadside Assistance cover after the first 3 years, simply service your car at an official Mercedes-Benz Retailer like Jardine Mercedes. You'll receive a renewal notification to confirm cover has been extended for another 12 months on completion of a full Mercedes-Benz Recommended Service*. Continue to book your service through us and you could renew your cover for up to 30 years.
