MINI offers so many opportunities for personalisation, with wheels, paint, decals, trim, badging and technology, it’s easy to create your own one-off specification. And that’s a big part of its appeal.
But to make your initial choice a little easier, MINI has revised its trim levels. They still allow you all the scope you need to personalise, but they make the selection process simpler to navigate. So out goes the old-style Chili and Pepper packs, in come Classic, Sport and Exclusive. At the same time all models get an upgraded standard specification that includes automatic headlights with rain sensors, MINI Excitement Pack including ambient interior lighting and exterior MINI Logo projection.
The MINI Classic pack is available across the range and includes a 6.5” colour infotainment screen, intelligent emergency call, DAB digital radio and Bluetooth connectivity.
If you want the extra oomph of the Sport pack, you need to choose either Cooper or Cooper S models, whether it’s a three or five door hatch, Clubman, Countryman or Convertible. Sport includes exterior enhancements like the John Cooper Works aerodynamic kit and spoiler and John Cooper Works alloy wheels. Handling is sharper thanks to the Sports Suspension, while inside you’ll enjoy John Cooper Works bucket seats, John Cooper Works steering wheel and anthracite interior headliner.
Another pack that’s restricted to the Cooper and Cooper S models across the range, Exclusive offers premium materials and craftsmanship for a driving experience that’s more luxurious. It’s distinguished from the outside by its Exclusive alloy wheels and chrome line finish. Inside you’ll enjoy MINI Yours leather upholstery, steering wheel, interior trim and chrome line finish.
Now pick your packs
Once you’ve selected Classic, Sport or Exclusive, you can choose from a wide range of accessory packs, which offer a saving compared with choosing each feature individually on the options list. The packs include Comfort, which offers rear park distance control (PDC), dual zone automatic air conditioning, and front seat heating as well as floor mats and storage pack. Comfort Plus adds a rear-view camera, folding and dimming mirrors and front park distance control (PDC) with park assist for semi-automatic parallel parking. Navigation pack offers satellite navigation functionality, a touchscreen display and Apple CarPlay. Navigation Plus upgrades the display to MINI’s 8.8-inch touchscreen. It also comes with wireless charging, MINI Connected Services including Real Time Traffic Information, voice command, MINI Concierge Service, online services and Apple CarPlay.
