The EU has developed a new test to measure fuel consumption and CO₂ figures called the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP). Official fuel consumption in mpg for the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe range is between 36.7 mpg and 48.7 mpg and CO₂ emission figures range between 133g/km and 174g/km.
