Maintaining Porsche’s trademark design, the four-seater Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is available as a Sports Saloon or Sport Turismo. Fans of the marque will notice that the Sports Saloon body style pays homage to the 911’s design from many angles, whilst the Sport Turismo offers a longer, higher, and straighter roofline for even greater practicality and a 4+1 seating concept. Distinctive acid green brake callipers as well as ‘e-hybrid’ badges hint at its electric powertrain, and inside drivers enjoy sportscar ergonomics with a low driving position and key functions all within arm’s reach. Like all Porsche models, you can expect a high-quality interior with comfortable and supportive seats embossed with the ‘Turbo S’ logo, with the Turbo S E-Hybrid offering up to 403 litres of boot space for all your kit.

Now, this is where it gets interesting. Forget everything you think you know about hybrid saloons, because the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid is here to rewrite the rulebook. It’s electrification only adds to the experience. A 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 produces 542bhp on its own and, when combined with the 134bhp electric motor, the hybrid Turbo S has a massive output of 676bhp and 870Nm of torque. Topping 196mph, maximum torque of the electric motor is immediately available for a breath-taking response, racing from 0 – 62mph in an impressive 3.2 seconds. As well as this, a bigger 14.1Kwh battery increases all electric range to around 30 miles. Power is passed through an 8-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic gearbox to all four wheels, while rear-axle steering sets out to increase performance, agility, and everyday usability by reducing the Panamera’s turning circle.

Much like the rest of the Panamera range, the instrument cluster is made up of two high res displays and a central analogue rev counter, whilst a wide touchscreen is fitted for the brand’s latest infotainment system. A head-up display is also fitted as standard to project key information in your field of view. The Sport Chrono Package ensures an even sportier tuning of the chassis, engine, and transmission, and adds a switch for you to choose between driving modes quickly and easily. It also adds Launch Control and a sport response button for maximum responsiveness that lasts around 20 seconds.

In the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid, the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake system is installed as standard for even greater braking performance; 420mm perforated ceramic brake discs are fitted at the front and up to 410mm brake discs at the rear. The Turbo S E-Hybrid also comes as standard with LED main headlights and the Porsche Dynamic Light System. Other standard safety features include Porsche Stability Management, Cruise Control, ParkAssist, and Lane Keeping Assist.
